First off, thank you for taking time to be here. My full name is Jennifer Elizabeth Ruth. My middle name is my mom's mom who passed away before I ever got to meet her, but my mom tells me all the time I'm just like her. I'm 28 years young and a lover of all things.
When I was a little girl I dreamed of playing soccer professionally or becoming an architect, but life had different plans. I enlisted in the Air Force immediately after high school, just a week after my 18th birthday. In 6 months I became a crew chief on the U-2. I had little maintenance experience, but I worked hard. I kept my head down and studied and found my way out there with all the guys haha. That is also when I decided to start college online. I completed my AA in Elementary Education and then started my BS in Interior Design. I also met my husband there and we got married 2 1/2 years later. Soon after, we both got selected to commission so I switched to a BS in Aeronautical Sciences with a minor in Helicopter Flight at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. We went to the Prescott Campus where we I got to fly helicopters and play college soccer. Then after graduating, my husband and I headed off to start pilot training in Columbus, MS where we lived the RV life for 2 1/2 years. Shortly after that, we became C-17 pilots and moved to CA- where we still are currently today.

My life has been everything, but ordinary. It definitely has not been a clean direct journey but nonetheless I'm thankful for it. Honestly, I think I like it better that way. It has been so fun doing it different than the typical route. If I'm not at work you can find me hanging out with my husband and our two sister goldendoodles Maggie and Lola, running, living the van life, touring the back country (split boarding), tending to my sourdough starter, taking care of my 60+ house plants, hanging out at the pottery studio, writing or staying up til midnight sewing and making cards on my circuit or anything else in between (as you can tell I really do love a little bit of everything haha). Life's short- lets make the most of it!
